Experiences

Conservation experiences in extraordinary places.

One destination for now. We add a place only when we have worked on it ourselves and know the animals come first.

Come and work with us in 2027

You, us, and a handful of other people who would rather spend a fortnight on a working reserve than on a beach. One project for now — the one we volunteer on ourselves.

Small numbers. Real days. Animals first.

Hands in the daily work

Ages 16–70 · from €800 per week

Feeding and cleaning duties through the morning, meat prep after lunch, then the afternoon round — cheetahs, lions, servals, caracals and the meerkats. A handful of volunteers at a time, working alongside the four people who run the place. Nothing is staged for you, which is the reason to go.

A cheetah walk or a game drive, when the day allows

Included: accommodation on the project, three meals a day, wifi and laundry. Flights, transfers, insurance and visas are not.

Veterinary Internship

Beyond the classroom

Pre-vet to qualified · rate on enquiry

You are on the project as part of the animal team, seeing how health decisions get made where the animals actually live: what gets watched, what gets escalated, what waits. Scope is agreed in advance with the project rather than promised on a website.

Observing veterinary procedures as they happen

Daily health checks with the animal team

Monitoring appetite, behaviour and wounds

Condition scoring across the whole collection

[SCOPE OF PRACTICE]

Included: accommodation and three meals a day, alongside the volunteers. Duration and rate are set with you on enquiry.

Veterinary Assistant Course

A scheduled 2-week course run by our partner conservancy, open to beginners — enquire for the next intake. Details sit inside the volunteering page.

We can't wait to work alongside you.
